My name is Tyler Vitello and I am currently 19 years old and counting. I have been skateboarding for about 6 years now. I started filming skateboarding to just capture the tricks being done. It soon developed into a whole new passion.Since then I have shot a variety of different projects ranging from birthdays and balet's to small budget short films and experimental montages in addition to shooting skateboarding. As camera technology advanced, I was able to shoot both photos and videos. This opened up a whole other world of possibilities. I lived in Virginia for a good majority of my conscious life, from 6th grade through the end of my high school career. Once I graduated I moved to Colorado to pursue a different lifestyle, photography and an education in Cinematography. I will be attending the Colorado Film School in the Spring semester of 2011. I also shoot freelance photo and video to perfect my craft while also trying to make enough money to fund all my equipment. I draw a lot of my inspiration from different genres of music, the skateboarding lifestyle, and the differing personalities I meet along the way. I am always looking for something new to shoot and I shoot anything, everything, and anywhere I can have my camera.
